The Brompton Riding Society

This B Corp month, we’re teaming up with Brompton, the iconic folding bicycle manufacturer & fellow B Corp.
During March, we have a pool of four Brompton bicycles available for members to use when heading out for meetings, errands and site visits.
This initiative is designed to promote smarter, greener mobility solutions for our members.
Compact. Portable. Super fun. Brompton is the perfect partner for our busy community. The bikes can be easily carried into meetings or folder and unfolded quickly when using multiple modes of transport.
How to rent a Brompton:
  1. Reserve your bike using The Building Society member portal or app. You can find the bikes under the ‘Meeting Room’ section.
  2. Grab your bike and head out for your meetings, site visits or to pick up lunch.
  3. Return the bike to The Building Society.

About Brompton

Made for cities, Brompton produces almost 100,000 bikes a year and over 1,000,000 have hit the roads since the first bike was made in 1975 by the inventor Andrew Ritchie. A Brompton bike is perfect for those that live, work or play in cities. The bike folds up to a third of its size, and weighs roughly the same as a weekender bag, which means a Brompton is suitable to take on all forms of transport – perfect for commuting on trains, popping in the boot of the car and taking out of the city for some fresh air, hailing a taxi when the weather changes or you want to get home late at night. One Brompton bike takes 6.2 tonnes less carbon than a car to make and 42 folded Brompton bikes can be parked in the space it takes to park one car.
