14 July: Coffee Break Catch Up – COP26 + Improving our workspace
Wednesday 14 July 2021
Our monthly ‘Coffee Break Catch Ups’ bring members together to connect and informally discuss key topics.
It’s a great way to pool our collective experience and support each other on the issues and opportunities we encounter. Senior individuals from each practice are invited to grab a cup of coffee and come together on Zoom to talk, listen and discuss the pressing items of the day.
This month we’ll be looking ahead to the autumn with two important topics:
COP26 (1-12 November 2021)
The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference takes place in Glasgow this November. This session will be a chance for member practices to exchange plans and ideas for taking action in parallel with the conference, and to find out how we can support and amplify these actions through The Building Society community.
Updates to The Building Society space
We have some exciting improvements planned for The Building Society workspace during the summer which will better reflect the new working patterns we’re all adapting to. We’ll be sharing the proposed designs very soon and asking for feedback to make sure The Building Society provides the best workplace environment for all our members. Join this session to have your say!

Held on the second Wednesday of every month.
